I don't think i want Suarez for what he's going to cost. I just don't think this team is actually capable of winning a world series this year and I'd rather they didn't give up their best prospects for a two month rental.

Well that's interesting. Misiorowski hasn't given up a run and the Brewers pull him with only 64 pitches thrown.

Sounds like we’re pretty zero’d in on Cabrera as our top SP target. Zombro and Tread love the analytics and he’s cheap (looking at you, Tom.) You can probably expect Caissie to head the package.

I like Cabrera, but I would hope we would get a bullpen arm in the package as well if we are sending Caissie to Miami. Caissies value is insane right now.

Unless the Cubs and Miami do some blockbuster trade where Cubs get Cabrera AND Alcantara and we pretty much trade away most of our farm for example like we send Caissie/Wiggins/Brown.

Probably not a popular opinion but if you could land an ace and a back of the bullpen hammer that are both controllable for a few years I’d be ok with dealing Tucker if they don’t think we have a realistic shot at resigning him.

Then you have to go get Suarez to replace his production. Give Caissie a shot at DH/ 4th OF. It would allow Shaw to be super utility letting starters get a breaks down the stretch rotating the DH ABs.

End of the day if we get more for Tucker than we gave up Hoyer looks like a genius.
