So I don’t know much about this situation specifically, but could this be the result of the new NIL rules? I don’t think collectives can’t just give money anymore without a legitimate NIL ad contract. So that $5m would have to come from Iowa’s $22m across all sports, right? Did the collective promise him money and realize now that they couldn’t follow through on that promise because the clearinghouse has to approve the NIL deals now?

Not set yet I believe. Still waiting on the rulings.
