It’s a complete unknown if he can handle the cut or not.

You are completely ignoring how this benefits the team. Some people are willing to make sacrifices for the good of the team, and it is undeniably a better team with him at 57. If that doesn’t happen you squeeze either Arnold or Kennedy out of the lineup and replace them with Estrada or Voinavich who don’t have near the same point potential.
I don’t know how you can say Estrada doesn’t have near the same potential as Gabe Arnold.

You're right, it is unknown if he can handle the cut. I can say that in recent years I can think of many who have successfully went up in weight later in their careers. I'm struggling to think of an example of a top 4-5+ year guy cutting down and improving. I'm sure there are a couple examples I am not thinking of.

And I am not ignoring the team aspect. IMO a relatively sure 2nd place finish with a chance for a big upset + Estrada/Williams is not "undeniably" worse than questionable results with a large cut + Arnold. Don't forget Kennedy would be cutting back too. Has he outgrown 165? IDK.

I don't think anyone is questioning you on whether it has been discussed or even whether Caliendo himself brought it up. I have no doubt it's being thought about. I just don't believe it would be a wise decision for either the wrestler or the team, but we shall see.

Well they were 1 splits away from that happening. So his thoughts were spot on
Ha yeah one punch, one splits, one set of double birds and a whole team that hated him. Plus months of him having to stay out of trouble after that and that’s just AJ. That doesn’t even take Anthony into consideration. If that’s “spot on” it’s no wonder you think you’re right all the time hahaha.

It didn't work in Iowa but AJ is doing great which is a good thing. I know people like to hate and wish people failed but I like seeing people grow and mature and become productive members of society. Wrestling only lasts so long

He hasn’t been denied admission to a school for like a month so props to him for that accomplishment!

Denied for an allegation from years ago because cancel culture. Koll was told by the administration everything was ok. Then the article came out and the cancel culture crowd got involved and UNC caved to the pressure. How long should he suffer from said allegations? And did you've anything to say about Echmendia when he became a Cyclone?

Comparing Ech to AJ is beyond insult to Anthony.

I can see discussing anything with you is pointless. So I will refrain from doing so
They both had an assault on a female charge that was dismissed.

AJ almost killed another man in a car accident, punched his own teammate and flipped off his own fan base. What a dumb argument.

Someone almost died in that crash? I thought his buddy the track guy had minor injuries and was released the next day and the lady in the other vehicle had minor injuries . Virtue signaling 101
