My daughter is volunteering for some event at Reiman today, so I had to drop her off, and yeah the parking lot is full. Appears to be a ton of kids in attendance.

Looks like another interesting week for me. Last week was high school kids and when leaving work the parking lot was packed.

Note last night both wbb and mbb teams and staff were at training table. Saw both BF and TJ.

Camp must get out for younger kids in afternoon. Dinner for athletes starts at 4:00 and at about 4:30 every football player was up eating at the same time. Got my rear end kicked in dish room. Guy I work with said if I thought tonight was rough you have no idea come August.

I might need to some prayers come August. :)

Dude, show up every day, do the best you can, don’t complain and cause issues and you will be in the top 25% of employees.

They fed the kids some kind of sack lunches around 11:45 then sent them on their way. Little JM and I skeedaddled to El Azteca and didn’t wait for his sandwich. He did inform me that he’s staying tomorrow though, usually Chic-Fil-A on day 2.

Short story: Of note today, typically the players get very involved in a game called razzle dazzle at the end of camp. It’s essentially ultimate frisbee on 9 smaller fields and hundreds of elementary kids, pure chaos and awesomeness at the same time. The players typically love it and go nuts when their team scores and stuff. This year, they clearly appeared to have been explicitly told by the staff NOT to play. I heard some of them saying about exactly this. I suspect to prevent any weird injury (several years ago there was a dog pile about 9 kids hi on Breece). They were all standing and “coaching” their assigned teams with some “reffing” mixed in while the kids played the game. That is… all except Rocco. Rocco couldnt have given two sh*ts about what he was told about not participating and was going straight “all gas, no breaks” for his team of kids. sprinting, jumping, throwing passes and getting his team JACKed the hell up, and obviously winning. It was awesome. My back was to him for a moment and heard a little collision and turned around to see that Rocco had just mowed down some little 2nd grader trying to deflect a pass or something, like the kids face was semi buried in the grass and Rocco was helping him up and then Rocco, soaked in sweat, sprinted back to help his team on the other side of the field.
