Big 12 on NBC/Peacock?

Peacock is worth it in my opinion. If anyone is a fan of Premier League you get 90% of the games for such a fraction of the cost in comparison to what the folks in the UK have to spend.
I wish La Liga would go there. Had to endure ****** espn feed going out in the Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid in the 87th minute and they didn’t get it back until after extra time started. Then had to listen to the morons in studio saying how Lamine Yamal is making no impact on the match when he had 2 assists.

This can only help in Yormark's plan to sell a basketball TV package in a couple years. NBC gets the NBA back next fall and now have the best college league in country over winter
Yep tells me we’ll have at least 5 bidders for 2-3 Big12 basketball packages. Wouldn’t be surprised if we get some basketball only schools to increase value if that’s the case

Peacock is $8/month. Buy 1 less cocktail per month and you’re golden.

Not trying to tell people how to spend their money but the good thing is you can turn subscriptions on and off very easily. When the schedule comes out you might be able to just pay the months we have a game on there.
Not very helpful right now but you can usually get a year long deal on Peacock on black Friday for like $3 a month

Usually what I aim for, think last time I got is for 26.99 for the year, although I know I got it for $20 one year. My wife requires peacock for the chicago shows...

My team is Italian and usually makes European competition so Paramount plus is an insane deal to get all of Serie A plus all European competitions. I do laugh at how expensive it has always been for decades now to watch a game legally in Rome compared to some $1/month deal i get on black friday for Paramount plus.
haha yeah I have that as well for the various European competitions as well as the EFL stuff now. All those afternoon football games during the week are great when working remote :D

agreed. ESPNs coverage is terrible. Was when they had the EFL in years past. And all they were doing was picking up a feed from the UK and they still managed to screw it up.

Perfect. Hopefully means less game on the plus.

Peacock games are reportedly coming from Fox's allotment.

TNT is coming from ESPN, allegedly replacing ESPN+ conference games.

And CBS/CBSSN should still have its 26 games, also from ESPN.

Does this mean we're getting Roundball Rock during the intro to these games?

Although I'm not excited either way. Peacock is where I drew the line. I thought we wanted streaming so we could cut the cord? Now there's so many streaming services, it's more expensive than the cable we were trying so hard to get away from.

And cable was delivered better. We screwed ourselves. Here's the part where I laugh hysterically.

Personally I love it. My wife insists we get a bunch of the streaming services every year during the black Friday sale. Now I finally have a reason to use them.

I’m guessing if the Big 12 does its own basketball deal in ‘31 there will be 3 partners. This’ll be a Nice tryout with 7 potential bidders

Peacock is typically one that you can get for $30 per year or so. If you’re doing it for sports, the basic vs premium isn’t a big difference as you’ll get commercials anyways.

If only we could get Fox to officially launch their standalone service I think we can get there.

Simply ESPN $29.99
Paramont+ $7.99
Peacock $10.99
Max $16.99
Fox One $??

Then I can drop YTTV and I think that gets me most ISU sports. I still think I’ll come out about even and get more content (that I want to watch) than YTTV. Plus I’ll add and drop services depending on the season and come out ahead.
