#9 Florida State (def. Mississippi State) and Duke (def. Oklahoma State) are the first two super regional participants.

Wake Forest gets a walk-off walk to force Game 7 tomorrow against #14 Tennessee.

#13 Coastal beat East Carolina 1-0 to advance.

West Virginia on to Supers. Beat Kentucky, Clemson, and Kentucky again.
When WVU joined the Big 12 it had a high school baseball field. There were no dugouts or locker rooms. Visiting teams were unable to shower and had to change on their bus.

Now? WVU has a brand-new stadium, a top indoor facility with state-of-the-art equipment, and a team of scientists, doctors, and sports professionals.

WVU had excellent attendance, and the economic impact on the state is well into the millions of dollars. And yes, WVU baseball makes money.

WVU won the Big 12 title this year in baseball, and for the 2nd year in a row, swept its regional and advanced to the super regional. Those are the only 2 times in school history that WVU has made it to a super regional--both in the last 2 years.

The moral of this story is that ISU could, in the NIL era, go from scratch to title winner in 5 years.

Amazing just how simple it is with a **** load of tax-increment financing and a major donor who's also an MLB owner.

Oh, and also not offering men's cross country, men's indoor track, women's golf, softball, or men's outdoor track.

WVU does offer wrestling and rifle. It just won the national title in rifle. It did add men's golf after joining the Big 12.

I think baseball is likely the 3rd major sport, after football and basketball in terms of attendance and revenue. LSU has about 10k fans per game. WVU has about 4k.

Won’t happen but if Little Rock and Murray both win… that would so awesome. Hopefully WF can come back here. Love this day of baseball. Pure chaos.
