Nothing worse than going 0-2 at home on final possessions. Throw in blowing a big 4th quarter lead in the first game. Apparently it has even caused Stephen A to stifle himself….temporarily.

Absolutely not. Objectively and subjectively not. If you want to argue talent levels, then I'll concede, but NBA basketball is IMO unwatchable, because it's a 1v1/3 point shooting contest.
This is extremely inaccurate.

Last year 39% of NBA shots were from 3 compared to over 40% for college basketball. And CBB they shoot 33% from 3 on average versus 36% in the NBA, despite the NBA being a more difficult shot.

NBA will iso if they get a matchup they like on the perimeter. But there’s a lot of action up to that point. CBB has a lot more 1-on-1 poor quality shots during a game imo

I don't watch NBA much because it seems like every game is about the same thing.

However college basketball seemed better this past season but it's been a pretty bad product for a few years.

Lots of games look like a fumble drill.

Well a lot of people seem to disagree that it’s unwatchable. And before you say well a single game got more viewers in college, it’s simply that. NBA playoffs are 7 game series. NBA basketball is a great game to watch, stop buying into the stupid narratives.

There is a reason most sports fans have stopped watching the NBA, it's a bad product.. We are all vested in Haliburton, more than the product.
I don’t really agree with this. It’s a good product IMO, but the NBA has always been more focused on superstars than teams. And really, they are lacking that now. Most of the stars they have now are either on the downside of their careers or not that likeable.

we are all way more vested in ISU than CBB.

NBA basketball is a far superior product to CBB in terms of watchable basketball. the NBA games are officiated much more consistently (for the most part) as opposed to the wild swings in fouls and calls you see from CBB ref crew. i also am not saying i would rather watch the NBA.
NBA playoffs are the best. An amazing run of basketball. Regular season I prefer college more but the playoffs are the best.

If this is a bad product I’m not sure how you watch cbb.

I’d be here all day listing flaws with it.
You saw ISU running a lot more pro actions this last year. A lot of zoomer actions staggered screens, Spain pick and roll, gortat screens… something Kansas has been doing for years. College is about 5-10 years behind the pros.

This is also wildly inaccurate. NBA playoffs viewership is up 12% over last year and is the second-highest rated playoffs since 2011.

Outside the NFL and the WNBA, there’s not another league/sport in the U.S. seeing those kind of increases

Can you post a link for the 12%?

What counts as 'most' if it's still extremely popular?

There isn't enough continuity in rosters nowadays to make the college game look fluid. It's atrocious.
