It's an extension. Looks like he'll make $5M this year. Same thing happened with Haliburton

$985K -> $5.34M -> $50+M is his last year to next year pay. I'm guessing next year will be a big chunk of the total guaranteed with how NFL contracts are typically structured.

Looking at some reports on Twitter, it's really a 3 year deal with worth 165M, leaving room for Brock to renegotiate in 2-3 years!
