As an ISU and Minn sports fan, my memories of the 91 WS are pretty fuzzy. Need the Wolves to get this done. Plus I am a fan from the day the franchise formed. I even had the OG starter coat.

You've been there all the way from Christian Laettner to KG to the current Garza era.

If it isn't going to be TH then I would vote for the Wolves. Even if it means Luka Garza gets a ring as a valued cheerleader.

Garza is absolutely going to prevent me from pulling for the Wolves. Sucks too as I've always been pretty pro MN pro sports teams my whole life, and really enjoy Ant and Julius Randie as players. I just could not stomach a former hawk getting a ring, you know local media will go nuts about it and all the hawk fans.

I could see this if he played like, at all. The fact is he's a bench rider and has no effect whatsoever. If the IA media pushes that you just know how desperate and sad they will look. Who gives AF.

Nuggets are just 1-2 players short. The Nuggets and Pacers are my adopted teams and the more I watch the Pacers the more obvious it is their depth makes them so much more dangerous. Jokic covers it up some games but even 40-20-15 type games can't always cover it up.

Pacers have 7-8 guys that can kill you on a given night. Nuggets only have 5-6.
Tyrese’s 31 points in game five was the only 30 point game by any Pacer in the Cleveland series. They have such depth and a great bench and their style of play keeps everyone engaged

Yup, it only hurts them for short stretches but it ends up being the difference. Especially against OKC, they are really deep and balanced. Nuggets have outplayed them for 40 minutes the last two games, they could have ended this but OKC just keeps coming at you, eventually they get that run.
The Nuggets need more consistent three point shooters. Joker usual makes the correct pass but Porter and Westbrook just can’t make open threes.

Jokic was bad games 3-5, so he doesn’t get a pass in the series.

But his teammates were 1-15 and 0-10 from 3 in the 4th on Tuesday night.

As much as I feel for you Minnesota sports fans, I think I’m rooting for OKC and Indy after this round (assuming the Nuggets are eliminated). If it’s Minnesota vs Knicks in the finals though, I got your back

WHO and Murphy were the worst, but I do think all the griping about covering Garza and not Haliburton has been received. The transition over the past 2-3 months is pretty stark. I haven't seen anything about Garza thankfully. It was ridiculous.

The TV execs will be sick over a Indy/OKC matchup! It would be a very entertaining series though! Heck...even a MSP/Indy series would draw yawns from both coasts and we all know that is not what the TV execs want...

I live in their dream market but I really don’t like their LA teams. The teams I’ve been pulling for in order are Indy, Denver, Minn, OKC so I guess I’m radically different than Joe TV viewer. And yes…for once the teams that are most likable to me are winning like few other years.

Surely they wouldn't give it way more attention than when Talen Horton Tucker won a ring with the Lakers?

If Garza gets a ring the central Iowa media will push that narrative all the way to the wnba playoffs when the attention will then turn to CC.

I grew up watching so many wolves games. I loved KG. He will always be a favorite
