Was this ever really in question? Never remember hearing any rumors of him wanting to leave. Or is this more of a “I got a nice little nil pay raise extension” post? Lol
Sure it was one of those things were people were asking. Just make it official and end any speculation.
Tamin had the same announcement earlier this week.

Our returning guys are all getting monster offers to go elsewhere for what it’s worth. Teams can still try until the portal closes in 3 weeks.

As CW emphasized in his most recent podcast with Blum, the portal never goes as planned, not for any school. Never. Ever.

Those two guys follow this stuff closely, I don't. I accept their explanation. Further, they say, coaches everywhere have a number of plans to fall back on when the original strategy hiccups.

Blum swears that regardless of Rohde's decision, we're gonna have a terrific roster when all is said and done. Why would I refute his position when myself, I don't have a clue?

I can let my imagination run wild, or I can control it and listen to those (and their innuendoes) who know a helluva lot more than me?

I'm gonna guess that the Iowa State Way is a real thing, that our coaches triage recruits to learn about their character and their fit to our culture. In years prior to the wild portal chaos that we're seeing today. And now it's paying off (pun not intended).

For some time I thought culture was a talking point, something less than concrete. My head has been turned in recent years. I accept that it is tangible.

As someone that watched a ton of Virginia this year, Rhode is a very clever defender - but as far as lateral quickness, it would have looked a lot like the Ole Miss game with Cade. Wisconsin puts a lot of responsibility on its guards to run guys off the 3 point line, and funneling into a drop coverage big. I’m skeptical he has the speed to handle it. We’ll see.

Oh yes. They technically go through the players agent.

Good lort, it really has become like professional sports. I wouldn't want to be a coach these days unless I had a Yankees type NIL. Too many other things to worry about and now players getting poached right under your nose.

We also currently have a thread that's currently 76 posts deep about Reeses peanut butter cups versus Reeses peanut butter eggs.

CF is like if every character on Cheers was at a party that only served tequila shots
There are people on here who have started families and have kids in junior high who have no idea what you're talking about.
