The other thing to remember is, the Transfer Portal works both ways. We have about a half dozen recruits coming in over the month of April who want to learn more about joining our team. I can’t talk about specifics yet, but I can assure you our roster will look a little bit different at the end of April -- like many Division 1 wrestling rosters.

I'm certainly not giving up hope yet. those 5 could be the larkins and a 197 pounder. The larkins would give us a pipeline to the brothers and a strong pipeline to valient prep and a wrestling hotbed. with them and someone at 197 we could have an incredibly stout team.

He also discussed everyone who has entered the portal so it sounds like he may think everyone else has committed to staying. His thoughts on everyone portaling are almost word for word what AE tweeted.

So we will see other guys going too, unless there is something creative with the RTC that can be figured out.

It'd be pretty damn funny if PSU brought in AJ Ferrari. That seems like one school that absolutely does not need him and not sure why Cael would take the risk. It makes sense for an Iowa State (or hell, even Iowa) to do it, but why would Cael disrupt the cog he has going

Might end up being true but he gained around 25 from his first year to his second so I’m not sure why it’s considered doubtful.

Got to think coaches will get creative and have guys gray shirt and sit in the RTC. The top programs will also utilize their RTC for Olympic redshirt years. The kids who still want to be around the program could be cut from the roster but still enrolled in school and just used as practice partners within the RTC.
