The first five tournaments (1939 to 1943) had new teams each year. 1944 was the first time a team made its 2nd Final Four. Here are the years that broke the record for the most combined final fours:

1945 - 7 (Ohio State - 3, Arkansas - 2, New York - 1, Oklahoma State - 1)
1946 - 8 (Ohio State - 4, Oklahoma State - 2, California - 1, North Carolina - 1)
1951 - 12 (Kentucky - 4, Oklahoma State - 4, Illinois - 2, Kansas State - 2)
1962 - 13 (Ohio State - 7, Cincinnati - 4, UCLA - 1, Wake Forest - 1)
1968 - 19 (Ohio State - 8, UCLA - 5, North Carolina - 4, Houston - 2)
1974 - 20 (UCLA - 11, Kansas - 6, NC State - 2, Marquette - 1)
1975 - 23 (UCLA - 12, Kentucky - 7, Louisville - 3, Syracuse - 1)
1991 - 32 (North Carolina - 10, Duke - 9, Kansas - 9, UNLV - 4)
1993 - 37 (North Carolina - 11, Kansas - 10, Kentucky - 10, Michigan - 6)
1995 - 38 (UCLA - 15, North Carolina - 12, Arkansas - 6, Oklahoma State - 5)
2008 - 51 (UCLA - 18, North Carolina - 17, Kansas - 13, Memphis - 3)
2022 - 61 (North Carolina - 21, Duke - 17, Kansas - 16, Villanova - 7)

If Houston beats auburn for the championship I win $1,000 in one of my pools, so it would be nice if that were to happen.

I'm in 27th now out of 200, but only two people in front of me have Houston winning it all and they both have Florida in the championship game.

I absolutely hated my bracket as I was picking too chalky, but I just couldn’t bring myself to pick anything else.

Got all elite 8 team right and all final four right. Got Houston winning it all against Florida. Let’s go Big XII!!!
Good season to go with mostly favorites, that's for sure!

I didn't see a ton of places for upsets, but of course I went with too many anyway. I've had years when I played it to safe throughout and tournament wound up as chaos, so it's never easy to know which way to go.
