Big fan of this pickup. A little under the radar but he analytically profiles similarly to CuJo at Buffalo and visually his game reminds me of a mix between Curtis and Keshon. A late bloomer and really came on strong the back half of the year.
Would hope they're going big game hunting with the next couple schollies, though.

heard a lot of comparisons to Curtis Jones. Sounds like a good pickup.
Didn’t play a tough schedule at all, but did score 20 against Missouri and averaged 24 against Montana (tournament team, losing to Wisconsin) this season. Had a few other games where he scored a ton.
I see a bit of both Gilbert and Jones in his game. Hopefully he turns out the same.
Other than Cluff, I would expect us to continue to look for "hidden gems" in the portal rather than bidding top dollar for the guys in the Top 50.
There almost always seems to be a prior connection between the staff and a kid when they transfer in - which makes sense, you can't build a relationship and really judge if someone is going to "fit" culturally in 2 days.
I wonder if Mason is someone that TJ knew of, or has a connection with, from his days at Washington
It looks like he missed around a month early in the season, probably injury. He had a good game against Mizzou. Hopefully he is more efficient with better surrounding players.
There is a Rhode to getting one.
Seems like a good depth pickup. Hopefully develop into a CuJo type role! Seems like he needs to work on ball control though. I know stats don't show everything, but just quickly looking through his game logs last year I had some flashbacks to a couple Keshon games this year...had an 8 TO game
