I guess I don't really get all the desire for Rohde. If Heise wasn't coming back, then sure, but they are similar enough players that I don't think it makes sense to have both. It was pretty evident towards the end of the year, that we need to get more athletic in a few areas. One being on the wing. Don't get me wrong, he seems like a good player, and has a good 3pt%, but it isn't like he's some volume shooter that's going to fill it up. After losing the scoring of Jones & Gilbert -- that's exactly what they'll need.

Now if they decide to go after Rohde AND a scoring guard/wing then sure, I just don't know if we have the funds for that.

Second order of business has to be a more athletic 5. Jackson is a large human, but is not quick or athletic enough to be that true rim protector. He was really exposed this year in matchups against smaller more athletic bigs. His hands of stone on the offensive end didn't help either. Pair him with an above the rim guy(doesn't even have to be as big, 6'9" is plenty), and I think they'd have a good duo. Ward was missed more than I expected.

If someone gives him a ton of money then I think you have to let him walk. He’s the softest 7 footer I have ever seen
This. Not sure how many times I said to my wife as we were watching games this season, "I've never seen such a big guy get pushed around, or get the ball ripped away so much."

Seems like a really nice kid. Maybe too nice...need that junkyard dog energy when you're that big.

Im kind of mehh on this. Was a good not great player, and fun to watch, but there were too many times the B12 basketball just looked like too much for him
I'm with you. I was constantly more impressed with other Big 12 teams post players than Jackson. I can think of many I would rather have

Correct - I think all are expected to be back, with the normal caveat that who can tell anything in NIL season. Dishon is the only one up in the air at all, from what I've seen
That seems pretty good.

Just get a couple transfers who are upgrades over Jones and Gilbert and they could contend for titles.*

My wife would comment everytime Dishon had the ball dislodged or he fumbled the rebound out of bounds- "Dishon has hands of stone, man it would be nice of he could hold onto the ball."
