Playing better teams. I think the problem comes from the top. When you listen to Otz talk, he's all about driving the ball and being physical on offense. If that's your offense, it's fairly easy for the opponent to just pack the middle. We need someone that understands spacing and ball movement. With this team, the extra pass is the rare exception, rather than the rule. The guys are out there doing what the coach is telling them but on the offensive end, he's just plain wrong.
TJ isn’t a coach in the same way Chris Beard or 98% of the coaches in the tournament are. He’s a rah rah, figurehead type. I think that is a huge weakness for this program in a tournament setting and I don’t know what the solution is.

I didn't claim to be an expert? What would you say is the offensive game plan tonight?
I didn’t say there was a game plan, I’m no expert. I’m not the one acting like there wasn’t open shots, that’s you saying no game plan. They just didn’t hit them early.

He's not great but tonight wasn't on him. Gave up 91 and we couldn't hit a open shot for 30min

In our final games the last 3 years

2025 - 4 total points from 15 minute mark to 5 minute mark

2024 - 6 total points first 10 minutes of game

2023 - 2 total points first 10 minutes of game

The offense completely disappearing for 25% of a game needs to stop being a trend

What is our offensive identity? Force turnovers and score in transition?

We don't run anything other than let CuJO play hero or drive the basket and pray
It's Spain and a couple other ball screen sets. UConn win two championships with exclusively off ball motion.
