Makes me think of our closest comp, Houston. What has happened to their tournament runs recently? Our style of play isn't sustainable over the long course of a season. Always seem to fade towards the end of the season because we're too tired and injured.
I hope so. Assuming the Lobos get by Michigan State.Ole Miss will shoot 20 % against New Mexico.
TJ can only do so much. At the end of the day the kiddos have to go out there and play and play their asses off. TJ can scream and yell and motivate all he wants but he’s not on the court.
Did they say they had 5 different 1,000 point scorers transfer in?Yes it is. They have the Joe's. You know they can afford to with their $EC money
It's part of CF and Cyclone culture. ISU has a good team with good players and a good coach and a GREAT fan base. I love the boys, and I am sorry they are getting nut-cupped tonight. However, this was just never going to be a Final Four National Championship team. Injuries hurt and stuff like that, but even with the best of situations advancing past the Sweet 16 is not for sissies. Oh well, not really bummed. I love ISU, Cy, etc. and look forward to next year, but tonight does not surprise me at all, as I never expected this to be more than a Sweet 16 team. Turns out, they just missed that by a game. Life goes on. Let's Go State!I think in general we have over-estimated our talent. Milan, he has one good game for every 3 games? He isn't the go to scorer we want him to be, too passive, not strong enough physically / mentally to be the go to guy. That doesn't mean he is a bad player, but he is just ok.
Quit blaming the season on one shot. If that killed the season, then these players are the weakest minded players to ever play the game.
Probably not wrongMaybe a certain style of play requires more than only 8 viable pieces to last an entire season.
I’m sure nothing will go wrong with sky high football projections next year.got the tv
on but listening to John and Eric and reading the board thinking about all the free time I will have in 10 minutes and it is just frustrating to watch the projections fall short, men and women. that is a Cyclone fans ending
I’d never see another game again then
I don’t know, but if I had to guess it’s because he does not bring it in practice to the level that TJ demands. Otherwise I have no clue how Kelderman get mins over him??@clonedude so tell me why he doesn't play? TJ just doesn't like him? I highly doubt it. He clearly isn't good enough. Whether it's passing, ball handling, I don't know. It's something though. Even when injuries happened he didn't get minutes.
Then, Mississippi should have been seeded higher than ISU.Yes it is. They have the Joe's. You know they can afford to with their $EC money
I think he’s a rarity in today’s college culture. You don't think Tamin has pride for Iowa State?
