When it comes to NIL, 2 stand out. Cody Campbell, at TT. He seems like he'll go broke bankrolling TT to a national title.

BYU-the Mormons have money that makes Cody Campbell look like Eddie Murphy in Trading Places (before he got rich). They see bankrolling BYU as a way to advertise their church.
Tax deductible, charity, organizations...

Let’s not conflate handing out 9 figure contracts from pro team owners with some normie scraping up a thousand bucks to go see Taylor Swift one time before she gets old.
I've considered going to the Super Bowl a few times to watch KC but I always talk myself out of it. Im not rich and I'm not poor but I have no business paying 3k plus for a ticket. I'd be better off investing it or paying off some things to take some stress off of myself.

Cart is miles ahead of the horse in Iowa City. Would be a shame if this doesn’t happen for them.

People around the WVU program are coming to understand they couldnt have kept Devries from the Hoosiers. They were too hungry for success and viewed him as a key to a return to glory.

Not only did they pay a 6-million-dollar buyout--unheard of for basketball, but they gave him 5 million a year for 6 years. WVU would not have matched that, even if given the opportunity.
Devries was leaving Morgantown no matter what after this season ended. The Devries family didn’t like it there.

Testifying
Assuming Little Pitino gets another power offer.
Personally, New Mexico is a good middle job. Great home court.

Well now he can play with Mark Cuban's money at Indiana. Do we even have a donor with a net worth in the 20 million range? I had no idea there were this many billionaires helping schools. Arizona State has one too.

Cuban isn’t even the big booster in terms of giving to IU

Carl Cook is rumored to be spending over $10 million. That’s not even a month of interest for him

IU has several other billionaires to draw on

We have more donors with a net worth of $20 million then you would think.

With minimal research:

Ryan Smith - BYU (Utah Jazz Owner)
David Booth- KU
Tillman Fertitta - Houston
Cody Campbell - Texas Tech
Boone Pickens Estate - Okie State
Koch Brothers/Family - Kansas State (unsure how much goes to athletics)
John Justin - TCU (Justin Industries/Justin Boots acquired by Berkshire Hathaway)
Could you add Dennis Albaugh to that list or is he no longer a billionaire

Is that a serious question about an isu donor in the net worth range of $20 million? Did u mean $20 billion?

If I had to ballpark it, I would say Iowa St athletics has somewhere between 500 and 1000 donors with a net worth of $20m or more.
