If

If we were full strength all year, how many more wins would we have?
Okie State
Arizona
WVU

Those are the only for sure games I think we could chalk up as wins.

Maybe: Houston

No: Kansas and Kansas State were blowout losses so I can’t say it would have mattered for certain.

It’s crazy how a few games swing changes so many mindsets on how good this team can be. I’m not saying don’t be frustrated but down key starters does matter.

Full strength we are looking at something like 24-4 or 25-3 and no one on this board would be wringing their hands. But we have been dealt injuries and losses added up.

I personally think we can’t hit the panic button until we see what things are like at full strength again. Just the optimism in me. And not faulting people who are down. But don’t agree with saying the season is over and this team is done and this team won’t do anything of note in March.

The 'if' is 'if' they were patient and communicated. I don't see the team live. Do they talk on the court? On both ends?

Based on trends I'm not sure if KG helps much last night although maybe he gets a foul/bucket to push it over the edge when it got to 4 and 5.

Just never know. Momentum is a ***** in college sports. You have it and you look unstoppable, you lose it and you can look terrible. I'd guess that we'd still be in the title race though.

I don't really like to play the IF games, sounds like dream world talk. I will say that this team has a problem with playing out of position and adapting to changes. Fun to see Jefferson as point but that's not what we need him for, we need him down low. Yes Jones can fill in for Milan but yet the lane is clogged. Heise is playing the best he has played all year but when Milan was out he went in the tank. Seems like if one person is out, we are totally different team.

If we didn’t lose Milan and Gilbert for multiple games and still lost, what would people use for justifications?

To be fair, a lot of teams can play the “IF” game. If Niang doesn’t break his foot, does ISU make a final 4?

Most teams will deal with adversity at some point in the season, and some will have it more than others. But you can only play the hand that is dealt to you

Let’s just get the ship righted for tournament season. They just got to stop turning the ball over so much. Get back to basics

Inexplicable TOs are what holds this team back.

I think that and from the couch a lack of communication.

Sampson said it well Saturday: something along the lines of how the best teams are the loudest that are always talking to each other. The ones that don't tend to struggle.

I don't see this team talk much. Not in a dysfunctional way; just seems like nobody grabs the bull by the horns kind of deal.

I got flat out depressed when I heard about Niang's foot. That yr was so much fun.

There is only two games where could have gone the other way: WVU and Arizona

Houston-maybe

K-State, OSU, Kansas just flat out beat us.

No way Eustachy's teams would be this undisciplined. I know ISU is banged up a bit... so we'll see how they do when all 5 starters are back in the rotation.
