It was a road game we should have won in a very tough environment. It stings differently than the WVU game because of how it went at the end. We still have a really, really good basketball team and in my estimation it was going to be Houston and us in the big 12 title race and I still think that's the case. This team can win in Lawrence and give Houston a run for their money too. Defend Hilton and let the chips fall where they may.

it sucks but the doom and gloom is ridiculous right now. We lost on a miracle and Jones was 0-8 from 3.

it sucks just cause the big 12 title and 1 seed might have slipped away, but the team is still good and can do unprecedented things. The top 2 almost the same as the last 1 seed.

I'm struggling to wrap my head around those non calls in overtime. I can accept the lucky a** shot to tie the game at the end of regulation, but the blatant hacking, reaching in (defender not even attempting to move their feet) and whacking the shooter is what leaves the bad taste in my mouth. I'd rather say, "that Love guy caught fire after a 60 ft shot! He stepped it up and beat us in OT" instead I'm sitting here pissed off at lousy, inconsistent officiating.

No team is ever going to get a foul call after dribbling into four defenders like ISU did in OT multiple times

18 turnovers and 66% from the charity stripe, that’s why we lost

The UA D took what the refs were giving them, and we didn't respond well...kind of hard to without CJ hitting and MM out, but yes, 18 turnovers is why this was close at all.

I am not as worried about a #1 seed as everyone else. We still will have to play the same level of team in the sweet 16 and elite 8. But loosing this game sure pisses me off. Losing a chance to stay tight to Houston to win the big12 pisses me off. We had the game. I hate Az, a bunch of punks. I hope we pound them into dust at Hilton. But lets be real, this was a slugfest. Our team didn't shoot well, but we gave Az more than they wanted even with a B- performance. Still super proud of our boys!!!!

IMO, the Big 12 regular season winner will have at least 4 losses.

Call me crazy but I can’t get too worked up about 1 seed vs 2 seed. So much of it comes down to matchups anyway. We have a team full of absolute dogs and have all the metrics that show we are a contender. Get Milan back, stay healthy and make a run.

The odds by seed for advancing deep in the tournament would say that there is a pretty dramatic difference.

Long term data says #1 seeds matter significantly. This is a once in a generation roster at ISU

Either miss that second free throw or foul immediately after making the second one. Thats on TJ at the end.

Yeah, miss the free throw so you lose if they make the hail mary three instead of going to overtime.

Nor can I, and honestly you win your first game you might play a 10 seed , vs an 8 or 9.
