Yeah, this was it. We started burning clock up 3 with 90 seconds left and ended up with two terrible possessions from it. A bucket on one of those would have been the knockout.

We had so many chances in regulation. I hate the offensive strategy of not running offense up 3 and having our guards dribble the shot clock down and dribble drive for a shot. We did it 3 times and it didn't work. It is always a desperation shot that the defense knows is coming.

And you can't do it when the referees have let physical play go all night. You know they aren't blowing the whistle so don't try to play into whistles.

Not really. It was always going to come down to beating Houston on their floor. This game doesn't necessarily matter all that much. It's not like we were going to go undefeated until then and this is the most likely loss after Houston. All they have to do is lose one or two games and that game will decide the conference.
