Downtown DSM Restaurants

Any CF reviews on Harbinger? I'm splurging and taking the wife there for their Valentine's Dinner. I'm 2nd guessing myself a little bit over the price tag.

Mrs. Farmer and I usually go to 801 Chophouse with pre supper drinks at Hello Marjorie’s. After planting and harvest are done. Good steaks for supper good cocktails beforehand

Harbinger really isn’t too expensive if you arent going in expecting huge portions and to be stuffed leaving. Or if you are okay with going early, hit up happy hour to try it out. Small HH menu but definitely gives you a feel of the place.

Their V-Day event is pricy, I think I'm 2nd guessing because I talked my buddy (and his wife) into joining us. Now I'm hoping it delivers. I'm sure it will, it's a 7 course menu that night.

Came into town once and found a restaurant near me that turned out to be perfect for a date night. The food was excellent, the service was relaxed, and it felt cozy without being stuffy. We just sat, enjoyed our meals, and had a few laughs—it made the night feel special.

Hard to beat Lua. Food is great (lots of gluten free options for my wife) and the beer is the best in the city (imo).
