Maybe go with Daniel Jones in the 2nd half? He's a decent scrambling QB. Can't be any worse than Spam Darnold.

And do a bunch of defense rebuilding...again. Mainly corners. The whole scheme doesn't work well without great corners.
Not having draft picks around is gonna take its toll, too.

I dunno. Kwesi is not good at drafting players. I'd rather keep building the defense in free agency, even the corners. I can't even remember the last time they drafted a corner that ended up being good.
I love it when teams are down 21. And you have no sense of urgency on the clock, and then throw a pass 5 yards behind a wide up guy for the first, and the punt
The problem with never being able to draft defense players is eventually you start signing shittier ones over time because too much money gets tied up in the offense.
Backups don't throw 35 Tds. He's an average to below average starter.
The problem is once you get to the playoffs its all about QB play. He's like Cousins and about 15 other Qbs like Lawrence, Herbert, Dak, decent Qbs that will never win you anything when the pressure is on.

Vikings get pressure twice on this drive - Stafford completes a pass for a first down on the first pressure, and throws the ball away on the 2nd pressure... Take notes, Darnold.
I didn't like putting Darnold back out there after half. I don't know how much more evidence you need for him to say he doesn't have it under these lights, he's had like 8 straight quarters of utter trash football going now. Mullins or Jones would at least provide a change of pace and expectations.
Literally the only option was JJ. No other backup plan whatsoever.
If I hadn't been a Vikings fan for so long, I would have expected something different tonight. Luckily, after the way they started the season, I knew exactly how this would end.
I mean it was kinda cool to be predicted as a last place divisional finisher and end up winning 14 games, but the ending to it all gave nothing to feel good about. Plenty of major issues have been exposed.
