I keep getting a Mayo Clinic ad about every two clicks that takes up the entire screen on my iPhone, and there’s no way to click out of it. It just freezes. Makes the site unusable at this point on my phone.

This. Mobile has become a game of don’t pick up your thumb. If you do something is going to open. The page shifts multiple times and now I’m getting full screen ads to click out of. It’s making the site a lot less enjoyable.

Even CW quit using it...
When a website uses scam advertising I have no problem turning on Ad block. It has become crazy this past month. Unusable on mobile.

"Oh we need ads to keep the site going" that's great and I respect that and am more then willing to support the free site by having those ads be shown to me as long as they aren't scam ads.
Work in ad/media, and I honestly thought these types of ad practices had been outlawed.
Yep... they really want us to stop visiting this site I guess? I will quit coming here before I pay to use it. I don't mind ads at all... but not ones that prevent you from actually viewing the site.
Still appearing this morning...basically whenever I scroll down the latest post. Damn near makes this website unusable.
