That's bizarre, unless Cotlar somehow does a spectacular spontaneous Marty impression, and cussed himself out. Well, that would also be bizarre.

I agree....I can't imagine Cotler and Con being let go and not Marty. 13 probably was only able to confirm the first 2. There must be something to the whole credential thing or KXNO mgmt must think that they let the tirade get on the air.

I imagine it has something to do with what led up to the incident... Remember, Marty kept saying "what you did was wrong!":wink:

Cotler was the bait and Conn set the hook in an attempt to get Marty outta there.
Bad job outta them. I'm sure the fact they sucked helped the decision making.

This. Regardless of who is to blame, his actions were completely inexcusable.

I'm not saying I agree or disagree with them being fired, but my guess is that they wouldn't have even received a slap on the wrist if it hadn't been broadcast live for all to hear. If that's the case, then it seems like they're just being scape goats for the station and not really penalized for what they did/said.
This reminds me of the Bert Blyleven incident a couple years ago while doing a Twins' postgame show......it was absolutely hilarious! (Youtube it if you haven't seen it before).
With all that being said, I didn't really like Cotlar's show, so I'm not too disappointed.
