Coach Coop gives his views

Miami has a roster of thoroughbreds. It’s going to be hard to match up with them.
Hard… but not impossible.

You probably wouldn't have said that before the game.
No, I actually did.

That Oregon team lost to Oregon State, Cal, and almost lost to a bad UCLA team.

Iowa State was ranked #10 and Oregon was barely ranked. Tyler Shough was never a very impressive QB to me. We had a big advantage at QB, RB, TE...

Thibodeaux at DE was the one player that really scared me on that Oregon team, but overcoming a DE is easier than a dominant QB and WRs.

Cam Ward was at the 2024 Heisman ceremony for a reason...him and Restrepo will be playing on Sundays. Huge difference from him to Shough.

2020 Oregon never worried me, 2024 Miami does. Iowa State could potentially still win. I just liked what ISU had relative to their opponent a lot more in 2020 (I still love our current team.)

'20 Oregon had some speed but we're young iirc and a little disorganized.

Their speed may roll us if we can’t run. Linebacker play and d backs must be sharp. Play to win is only wish!

Miami's schedule was a complete joke, they literally played no one of note. And in many of those games against crappy teams, they had to rally late to win. Their defense also is total garbage.
