Just received a call from my MIL, and she is sick...so no Christmas steak luncheon for us. So now, going to figure out what to do for lunch.

I received a wool scarf with one of the ISU tartan designs. DH bought it at the Student Innovation Center, a campus building I have not yet visited.

edit: Made by my father who helped pay the way for me and my slblings to go to Iowa State and who went into the ditch on his mail route when Luther Blue ran the touchdown back against Nebraska.

New cologne, new socks, and my mom continues the tradition of always buying me one Iowa State thing. This year it was silk pajama bottoms. That makes 50 years in a row of buying me a cyclone Christmas gift
I feel like my family is getting more cognizant of canceling/alerting us if anyone is sick.
It stinks to miss planned events but I truly appreciate that vs picking up a bug.
Didn’t get a chance to take a picture, but tell Connor Ferguson that the Knoxville Raceway lights were lit up in red, green and the Raceway sign on the suites was lit up, too on Christmas Eve. Reflected off the clouds. It was awesome.
