Heisman

Hunter deserved it. Jeanty wins it any other year which is unfortunate for him

Jeanty was good, but it was against significantly inferior competition. I honestly think Sheduer should have been there instead of Gabriel and Ward. Gabriel was only up there IMO because he was the QB on the #1 team. He was inferior to Sanders in every stat.

Not really sure how you can make an argument on either over Sanders other than maybe you didn’t like his attitude.

Before it became political and not objective. Troy Davis 96 and 97 2K+ yards each year

There has never been a Heisman winner on a team that didn’t finish .500 or better. Was he deserving? Sure. But it’s not like Wuerfell was a scrub though, at the time, 39 TDs ranked 4th all time for a season in college football history.

Maybe it changed before that time but IMHO I've never viewed it the same since. I'm assuming your a millennial or Gen z... good ******* luck to you

So you saw many more Heismans before 1997 but didn't see anything a little weird?

I think I'm a millennial but in 2024 about anyone can Google 'Controversial Heisman winners' and read up on it.

Start with Jim Brown.

Missed that one. But, I think only one thing matters in that is “Notre Dame”.

If he played for any other team, he’s not winning it.

I don’t believe in any Heisman since 1956. Rigged.

Yeah 1956 is when it started to be so political, ya know?

Before that though everything in the world was perfect.
