Oregon got screwed in this bracket. I think re-seeding after the first round would be fair if they don't change the bye-system with conf champs.

Saban was crying about not scheduling tough out of conference games. Alabama lost 3 SEC games didn't they? Two bad losses as well. Can't have two bad losses Bama. Sorry. SEC was overrated anyway.

Throw in their tough out of conference wins were against 5-7 Wisconsin and 6-6 South Florida teams. Beat OU and they would have made it in over SMU, but they didn't. They only have themselves to blame here.

Honestly they didn’t do a horrible job, they just need to clarify criteria more and embrace some sort of metric as a tool.

There are about five teams, yes including Alabama, that are just as worthy as SMU. Explaining how BYU is five spots worse than SMU is the toughest question one could ask the committee.

I don’t think they punished ISU for CCG loss, just natural BYU and acc champ Clemson should have moved up.

I feel like you are looking at it wrong. They didn’t move up, we played so poorly we dropped. It’s not like we had a head to head with them or something.

They were just on the wrong side of the conference schedule win percentages. I have 0 problem with a team we tied with on all accounts being ranked ahead of us after that beat down we took yesterday.

BYU has an incredibly rational argument they should be #11 if SMU is #11. They were underated most of the year given the SMU love.
