I think we will be really good, prob won't lose at home either.

But there are a couple red flags that are very similar to last year. Half court detail and disclipline offensively and the stretch 4 issue. It's really early though, hard to read much into these games this early.

I wouldn't be concerned about the half court issues if it wasn't a problem tj has always had.

Still early, these games mean almost nothing really.
The loss to Auburn should not hurt. I think what's important now is that we play well in these next 2 games and win at least 1.

And we continue to grow as a team. Three consecutive games will test our conditioning too, and depth. It will be a perfect time for a 10 man rotation. We have it. We can almost win just as well with 10, than we can with a more fatigued 7 or 8, IMO.

i just dont see this team scoring as much as they need to.
49 points in the 1st half not good enough for you?

We will learn from the breakdown in the 2nd half and improve. Also, give credit to Auburn, a very, very good team.

Our offense will be fine, and improved over last year. We won't win every game either, from here on. So don't be such a downer after a loss.

lol what?
the big 12 is struggling so far this year. add there are 16 teams instead of 14 or 10, it will hurt the strength of schedule. In the 10 team Big 12, the league went 9 deep most years and you had to go round robin against that. That helped our SOS which means we had margin for error in the non con. That may not be the case this year.

I mean overall we shot really well from the free throw line which is great. Lipsey shot was flat and short all night. Not sure if his shoulder is bothering him or what.

This thread is moving fast, but is lipsey ok? Just gassed? His shot is fricking broke. Like about a foot short on everything
Just guessing here, until we hear otherwise. His shoulder might be a little sore, but something he likely will be OK to play through, until it gets stronger.

The next 2 games will tell a lot. The next couple of weeks, even more. Hope he is OK.

That comeback is about as creative as your take is wrong.

It's almost like in a 30+ game season in a sport with high variance, there will be a wide variety of outcomes. But you really like harping in the negative and forget the positive. Great look.
Yep…I raise a valid question and you just are being a harpy. Good look.

Some great points. Tough tournament and how the team reacts to a tough loss will tell a lot early in this season. I suspect they will come out against Dayton and make a statement.

I have not seen
Billy Tubbs
Norm Stewart
Eddie Sutton
Jeff Moe
Acie Earl
Jes Settles

I am sure there are more. I will not say what the students chanted when Jeff Moe had the ball. I might get banned.
I kinda miss Billy and Norm. We used to make things so hospitable for them when they visited.

James Dickey, there is one I used to love hating.

Cyclone have a problem with the teams that are overall quick-twitch players. One or two not bad, but when you have 6-7, it a hard team to stop most times.

Your opinion…which is worthless. Go back to drinking heavily.
Nope... a fact based on 4 years of tj data. They've showed up several times in big positions. I can't help that you can't see it... but i can point out your comment is t based in fact and is pretty dumb.

Lol and now accusing a guy of drinking heavily. Your comebacks get more and more creative!

I'm not promoting violence, but if you could punch 1 person in the face:
a) Bruce Pearl
b) Fran McCaffrey
c) Brock Harding
d)Jordan Bohannon
e)Chad Baker-Mazara
Actually didn’t have a problem with Baker-Mazara. Kind of reminded me of Naz
