Asking again: Has the rot started to set in?

Has the rot started to creep in?

First, that’s not how any of this works. But second, it’s refreshing to see people actually admit that it looks like we’ve peaked under Campbell.
I don’t think we’re anywhere near our peak so I’m staying put. But I’m sure you’d love life as a Georgia fan you should try it out

But this is precisely the problem. For ISU to reach the next level, we need everything to go our way. If our team is getting knee-capped before they even get on the field by a coach that can’t call the right plays, can’t manage a clock, and can’t make second-half adjustments, we’re stuck where we are. ISU as a program has peaked, and this is the best there is ever going to be.

Which is fine if you like losing to Memphis in the Liberty Bowl
Lol. So there's a lot in a relative short post.

A) 2nd half adjustments? We're literally one of the best 2nd half teams in CF this year. So, about that point.
B) Being ranked in the top 25, 8-2, a chance to win 9 games in a regular season for the first time, basically ever...

Paul Rhoads - for the record, loved Paul (32-55)
Gene Chizik - didn't like him, fwiw (5-19)
Dan McCarney ( starting bowl births on so 2000-06) we went (44-45)

So, we're 37-74 in our two coaches prior to CMC.... which grades out at a cool .333 winning percentage. CMC currently is at 54.9%. CPR never went .500 in league play.

In the 15 years before CMC, Iowa State collectively had a record of 81 wins, 119 losses. And finished above 500 in league play a grand total of.... ONE TIME.

There's a reason Iowa State's not had success in football on a huge level. And sadly, not many of those reasons have changed or are going to change.

Constructive criticism is warranted and fair. But this idea that somehow Iowa State could be more than what it is... LOL. Essentially, lol. We are at our peak ability. Did a play call have Burkle fumble the ball? Cooper fall down versus Tech? Verdon go out of the game versus Kansas? Orange get hurt before the Kansas game? No. Ok.

This is so tiresome. Who is the coach we will hire that is going average 8.5 wins at Iowa State over the next 5 years for a bottom 10% P4 pay. Please dear God give a list of names.

The winningest coach in Iowa State history is holding us back?
That’s fair, but what to do about it?

Belichick and Saban are too old. Shanahan can’t win when it counts. McVay is too inconsistent. Maybe Smart? This season is worrisome.

We might want to stick with Campbell until a can’t miss candidate proves himself worthy.

A can’t-miss candidate will be taken by the 36 schools that make double what we make in our media deal

I demand a list! lol. K King.
I mean you guys are the one that want him fired. Makes sense you would have a list of replacements if you are being intellectually honest. But of course you aren’t. That’s your little game around here. Some type of perverse joy in hoping for failure.
Truth is that if a person ran their company like you guys treat this program they would be bankrupt in 180 days.
