Not sure it was ever answered definitively a couple of weeks ago or two years ago when it was also a topic. So take your pick:

1. It's broken like it seemed to have been two years ago.
2. The Alpha Sigma Phi boys are on double secret probation.
3. Earlier in the season they fired it at the opposing bench and refs suspended them for "targeting". ***

It's broken and needs parts, I'm assuming that are hard to find or slow to arrive.

The Navy has a few 16-inch naval rifle barrels in storage. Of course, with the breech, one weighs nearly 300,000 pounds. Still, it would be neat. Imagine the blast after every touchdown.

Just a thought.
