ISU Bowl Projection

I believe only the first-round games are home games for the higher-ranked team.

CBS projects have us in the Alamo bowl vs. Colorado. Which would be interesting. The old Pac 12 bowls can pick Wash St, Oregon St. or anyone that used to be in the Pac 12 last year so could be some interesting match ups like this protentional one.

I hope ISU wins at least 1 more game, If we lose out is there a chance we get relegated even as low as the Independence Bowl which gets the 8th Big 12 pick. (Shudders)

Not sure if Sanders & Hunter would play in the Bowl game but if they did that offense versus our defense....hide the women and children.

Our defense let KU score 45 points. I am not sure Colorado would be super worried.

McMurphy now has us in Pop Tarts Bowl in Orlando playing SMU.

At least we can count it as a P4 opponent (last season would've been G5 vs. AAC) :)

Separately: Interesting he has Colorado as Big 12 playoff team and not BYU. Certainly in the running, but I'd think BYU is default choice at this point.

Athletic also has us in the Pop Tarts Bowl (Orlando) and have us playing Pitt.

Orlando vs. SMU (ACC) is about as good as it gets outside of a CFP bid (which is not happening). Sheesh, beats the hell out of playing Memphis in Memphis!

It sucks, but does anyone really want to go to a bowl game as a fan? It seems like a waste of money. This is the first year I've really felt like bowl games truly mean nothing.
I'd consider Orlando only as the opportunity to take kids to Disney. Would not want to pay much to attend the game.

Any games against Big 8 teams is ok by me. Let's do it

Whatever bowl game we end up in is now going to feel like a tremendous letdown. There’s also zero reason for anyone to expect ISU to win that game considering the staff treats them like spring games. Maybe I’m just too much of a Debbie downer but 7-0 to the Pop Tarts Bowl is pretty disappointing

It sucks bowl games are so meaningless to people. Personally I wish they still meant something because it's fun to finish out the end of the year with a "trophy" win against an opponent you may not get to play much. Obviously it isn't like being in the playoffs but still an opportunity at the end of the year for another W
