*** #8 WBB vs. Indiana State***

Probably a positive that this has been an incredibly painful watch for our ladies and they’re still up 18.

Missing wide open 3s and bunnies, some out-of-character lazy turnovers, yet the scoreboard shows they’re still damn good

Royce White’s sister plays for Indiana State.

Former 4-star recruit, transferred from Wisconsin.

Does Ames still have a strip club? Maybe they'll go there for dinner after the game. It's the only way to get good food I'm told.

She's had some struggles shooting to start the season, but I really think Hansford could be a star once she gets going. Seems to be pretty damn good off ball, gets open, and I really like her shot. There's going to be a team coming up that gets lazy on her and she's going to make them pay.

Her ridiculous length also makes her tough to escape defensively.

Fun squad.

I think both Hanford and Harris need to play well for us to be really good. They offer both length and 3 pt shooting. Against some of the more elite teams, length on the wings will help.

Is it just me or did the reffing look amateurish?
Thought that too. Almost felt like the game was moving too fast for them. Not that o thought they were atrocious, but they seemed lost at times

I’m cool with letting them dip their toes in non-con games where they have minimal impact, but I certainly hope that crew won’t be doing conference games

Ugly game to be at, ISU won by hitting free throws, at one time we were something like 18 of 18 before we missed one. 3 point shooting was not there, made I think 8 out of 34 or so. Williams picked up 3 fouls and hardly played the 2nd half, and Crooks missed a lot of easy shots. Give Ind. St. a little credit they played hard and fought most of the game, really took the ball to the hoop really well.

Its a win, decent crowd for a Thursday night.

Iron sharpens iron and conversely, you play down to the level of your competition. No disrespect to the Sycamores - they played hard but don't have talent across the board. They were sloppy with the ball and didn't shoot well - we were sloppy with the ball and didn't shoot well. Chalk up the win, ,move on to the next one and ratchet up the competition.
