I suspect if their coach thinks the injury prevents him from having a realistic chance to win and continue wrestling in future matches, then it's not worth the risk of further injury.

If he was an ISU wrestler Cael may elect to push it to prevent UI from getting extra team points from a team perspective. But I doubt UNI has any concern about UI's final points.

How the hell does Beatty's guy make the tourney?? 14-15 with an intermat ranking of 41. I'd like Varner to get a shot at that guy.
