Quarterfinal matches tomorrow, from HR

Iowa
133 #4 v #5
149 #1 v #9 (who is 28-1, btw)
165 #3 v #6
174 #4 v #5
184 #2 v #7
HW #7 v #2

ISU
141 #6 v #3
157 #9 v #1
165 #8 v UR
197 #2 v #7
HW #1 v UR

Z, Varner, and Reader really need to take care of business. A win from Gallick or Cyler would be great. HUGE match for Fan. He has to win for ISU to have any chance.

Edit: ISU and Iowa tied at 33. Team scoring is a mess with these byes.

Fan may be the biggest. If he wins, he has the potential to add a lot more points. If he loses, he only accounts for a first round win. We really need our returning AA to win tomorrow and return to AA status.

Exactly. He's going through the #3 seed, but he is more than capable. I really like Cael's strategy so far. Cael has refused to address the media and has everyone totally focused. Tomorrow's the day boys, these Juniors have been talking about a National Championship for 4 years. Time to do it, Tomorrow's the day.

What time does it start tomorrow?
cyclones.com shows 10:00 -- didn't find the "official" schedule site.

I think the cons. round will go first followed by the quarterfinals and then another cons. round -- or they might have cons. and quarterfinals simultaneous -- I don't remember from last year.

Either way -- they're supposed to have 2 cons. rounds and quarterfinals in the morning/afternoon. Semifinals and 2 more cons. rounds Friday night. 3rd through 8th Sat. morning/afternoon, and finals Sat. night.

Gallick beat Jaggers earlier this year. If he wins tomorrow, Gallick will be the highest seed left at 141.

ISU needs Gallick and Fan to win tomorrow morning. If that happens, ISU has a GREAT, GREAT shot at this thing.

He shouldn't pin Terry and more than likely he won't pin Palmer.

No doubt that he will win but i think they will be by points.

That's what people said about Bubba before the Big Ten's but he made Bubba look like a chump. Now he knows people are saying Terry is his biggest threat, and I think he will try and make an example out of him like he did Bubba two weeks ago.

About two months ago I didn't think Metcalf could improve but he has. He is even more aggressive now and he is scoring a lot of pts because of it.
