Euton looks like the real deal too. He had 4:00 mins of RD against Rojas and controlled that match the entire 7 mins. I don’t see Gaitan beating him for that spot either.
To be fair though, Rojas is not near MJ’s level. MJ pinned Rojas in the first. Not sure who will win with MJ and Euton, but a solid win over Rojas doesn’t make me think Euton is a definite favorite.

Didn't Rojas beat MJ in their simulation match before big 12s?

I don’t think Euton style will match up well for Gaitan. Either way it’s a hell of a problem to have.

On the broadcast they said there will be 3 follow-up matches tonight. Here are the matches they listed with the AM results:
141 - Casey Swiderski TF Sam Hrabovsky, 22-4 (6:34
165 - Connor Euton dec. Manny Rojas , 8-1
174 - Aiden Riggins dec. Tate Naaktgeboren, 6-2

Swiderski got the TF and it was supposedly an exhibition match... Little confused by that one if the announcer's info was correct. They also said it'll be a 7pm start time (edit: stream on Rokfin says 6:30 pm).

Wouldn't look too much into the first one. Probably something for the fans in attendance. Spitballing, though

Euton has been a hidden gem for awhile, he’s finally getting going. Bockman looks like a tank and was a scoring machine. Tate and Riggins will push each other to be great, Tate looked very lean at 174. CC needs to stay healthy… meza will be fun to watch as he continues to improve, love seeing the emotions of Grice after the loss. Herrera moves so well for a big man, I hope a year in the room with Bastida makes him better

Did anyone else notice former OSU coach Chris Perry sitting next to Metcalf? Wonder what the story is there. Looked like he may have been wearing an ISU hat, but not sure on that one. He unsurprisingly got a little animated while Carroll was wrestling.
