Realignment Megathread (All The Moves)

And Rutgers just beat Washington 21-18 on Friday Night football.

A further lowering of B1G but it won't matter.

I would really enjoy a road trip to Piscataway.

Then I would really enjoy our escape!!!!!!

Poor New Mexico State. Alone on an island in that league and blocked from moving by an historically awful football program at UNM.

That's rough.

this was from yesterday. Thought it was crazy they raised that much.

Any FCS school wouldn't count towards the 8 needed though because of the 2 year transition rule....

Zags confirmed.
Heard GCU is also a target? Seems ridiculous to take GCU but not want the dregs of the MW.
Rocco Miller says St Mary's and GCU have both had discussions with the PAC about all sports only membership.

GCU I get. St Mary's is a tiny school with no budget that's in real trouble after Randy Bennett retires.

**** the super league

Brett’s tweet didn’t really show the full context. The proposal would actually include all current FBS teams, realigning conferences, allowing for two divisions (with the groundwork for promotion, but not relegation).

I don’t think there’s any chance the SEC or Big 10 schools will sign on for this. The commissioners and conference staff certainly won’t.

The schools will do it if they can make more money. The commissioners will fight it tooth and nail because it renders them useless.

Pollard predicted this exact thing fairly recently.
