I understand those things. Someone could be in a wheelchair and such. I just see a child as a choice. Remember, women without children are the happiest people.

And I see it as a malfunction of the body. There's no real choice involved. Vs someone who got a vasectomy or tubal and made a medical choice to not have children. And remain happy and rich.

Okay, that brings up the neighbor. He had a vasectomy, then got back with his wife, decided they wanted more kids and then tried to have it reversed, wasn’t effective and they IVF’d two more kids.

I mean, its pretty much what you're saying. There's a reason why we have deductibles. It's for the people that make choices that will involve using their insurance.
Nope, not even close to what I’m saying but stick with that straw man.

But everyone has the chance to have a heart attack. Take someone like a priest, why should he have a plan that has fertility benefits? Having a family is a choice. Some may not want a family and are adamant about it.

Isn't everything a choice? If I choose to play football and break my leg, are you saying insurance shouldn't cover it?
You were arguing that someone who chooses to participate in a plan shouldn't have to pay for somebody else's choice and that their choices shouldn't be covered.

Showed me where I said the choice shouldn’t be covered.

You were arguing that because everyone has a chance to have a heart attack that it should be covered, but a priest shouldn't have to have a plan that covers fertility benefits. You're basically saying only things that could affect everyone should be covered but "choices" shouldn't be covered.

You are stating that you should be able to opt out of health benefits.

But when people do that what do you think that does to the people who don't have that choice?

Nope. You conveniently skip post #33 to help build your straw man. I said I believe having kids is a choice, so if you want to say I don’t want a plan that covers IVF, you should be able to choose that.

Once again, they would have the choice. Just some people would say I don’t need that, I don’t plan to have a family, and if I change my mind I will adopt or so.

That's dodging the question. For people who's Healthcare burden gets increased because people can opt out of coverage. What happens to them?

And if you think it would stop at IVF you are incredibly niave. It would spread to medical necessities overnight. "I am not diabetic, why should I pay for insulin!" "I can't develop Sickle Cell, why do I need to cover treatment!"

How much extra do you think insurance would cost you if insurance companies came up with personalized plans for each individual in the country? (Hint: a lot more because you have more inputs)

You mean like the current open market privatized Healthcare? Cause pretty sure "personalized plans" currently exist. Just not through your employer and they are RIDICULOUSLY expensive.

100% free market allows monopolies to take over. If Jeff Bezos took over all of medical coverage available in the US, he would be able to charge whatever he wanted. What color is the sky in your fantasy land?
If you could list a company that has ever successfully taken over an entire market and then done that, please do. The moment he started charging whatever he wanted, thousands of competitors would spring up.

US Steel, Standard Oil, Bell Telecommunications are three off the top of my head

Let's not forget about our old pal Martin Shkreli
