Yeah, I kind of agree, they kind of sleep walked through it. I’m not sure there is much to take out of it. Gave up 3 points, it wasn’t great but I’ve seen a lot worse.

Tyrese Hunter transferring caused some absolutely WILD takes. Not trying to derail with him.

Rocco all in all looked great today. He and Noel can really do some damage this year.

D obviously needs some tweaking but it was the epitome of bend but don't break.

Counterpoint - no one here is acting like the season is over. It’s perfectly OK and expected for fans to (gasp) be standard/normal fans on a free anonymous message board after a boring game that saw a P4 team given up a crap of rushing yards go FCS team with a very inexperienced offensive line.

Sounds like nearly every first game of the season. It’s really quite predictable and it shouldn’t be a shock to any ISU fan at this point.

And come October, when conference games are in full swing, the team is clicking on all cylinders. It almost seems like Campbell knows what he is doing….

If there really is some potential there the coaches might love having some good film to work with for younger players or experienced players that need to clean things up.

I don't expect a win next week (I wouldn't if ISU won 60-0 and looked sharp and Iowa won 5-2) but Week 1 to Week 2 tends to be a big week for improvement for lots of teams.

Maybe the games just need to be played to see what happens.
