NFL: Kansas City Chiefs Thread

Chiefs would be a difficult roster to make, not surprised by any of the moves today, I like Ross, but it was an uphill battle for him, same with the ruby player, great athlete but hard to learn enough in a short amount of time to make the team. Hope the Chiefs can get him on the practice squad and give him time to learn and grow, same with Ross.
Carson Steele showing up and being a legit baller changed some of the calculus on the novelty of adding a rugby player to the roster.

Seems like they are going w 2 RB, 1 FB and 4 TEs. Carson I’m assuming will serve as the quasi 3rd RB.

Uncommon roster make up.

Sounds like Toney might sign with the Chargers... I'm not sure I like that, hopefully he doesn't reach his protentional with a division rival

Most concerning spot for me is probably OL depth. Really young depth. And then probably CB2. Seems like they have been really banged up in camp and no one has separated themselves as the clear #2. But good god the starters on offense! They should be damn good on that end this year. Might take a step back on defense to more like top 14-15 but the offense should be up there as the best in the league again.

I think this year will look at lot like 2018 offensively. If the defense can be even top 20, a 3 peat should be no problem

If he does then whatever. Their WR group is very underwhelming so the opportunity is there much like it was with the Chiefs the past 2 years that he couldn't crack a big role with the best QB in the league throwing to him so I'm not too worried that he will do it there either. Even if he does he's had issues staying healthy too.

The Chargers are going to struggle big time this season after letting go most of their WR core and their RB's. They are in rebuild mood, which is the way to go if you do not have the talent. Take the hit now and lose and rebuild with high draft picks in the next couple of years. They have their QB in place, getting Alt was a great first step, now lose this year and build an offense around them.

Hendershot is the eventual kelce replacement IMO. Same size, similar speed
Hendershot is not the eventual Kelce replacement because a Kelce replacement doesn't exist. A new starting TE will exist, but he will never ever be Travis Kelce. The Eagles will feel the wrath of losing Jason Kelce this year too.

Replaced, but not replaceable. Know what I'm sayin'?

Perine signing is a very good vet addition to the RB room. My guess is CEH goes on injured reserve or PUP. He really hasn't practiced all camp and there is no way he is ready for the regular season. I don't think they will cut CEH because he has been dealing with mental health issues (PTSD) and they said they are being patient with him. He is loved by coaches and is a great locker room guy.

Damn. Is there a link to this? Hadn't heard of it before your post.
