To the league that added the Pac programs no other power conference wanted. You know the one in the middle of a legal battle against their grant of rights. The one on the verge of losing their "flagship" programs.

Other than Clemson TCU, is the most impressive program of the CFP era outside of B10/SEC. I wouldn't have even put B10 in there until recent Michigan teams. It was SEC/Clemson/Ohio State and nobody else did jack, TCU was second to those teams until Michigan joined the winning.
They're not consistent, but they've had higher highs than Utah (at least during CFP years) for sure while playing far tougher schedules.
I don't think he is talking about Utah moving up. He's more referring to the super conference.
He's talking up to 60 teams which would mean Utah and most of the Big 12 (and us).
Utah fans are butthurt that 4 football programs that weren't significantly better than them got called up. It doesn't make any of those 5 program elite CFP performers and all of them have done less than TCU except for Oregon that has equalled TCU.
Where they are stupid is thinking those 4 moving to Big Ten somehow makes Utah significantly better at football than OK St, Baylor, KState and especially TCU have been at times over the past 10-15 years. Hope they find out.
And that is where is might be talking out of his ass. If the super conference thing happens I highly doubt any of the current P4 would be excluded, the legal challenge wouldn't be worth it.
We should love to have them. They should love to have the Big 12.
But they are a bunch of weird a-holes that they have not valued Big 12 lifeboat from the very beginning. It makes me think their BYU rivalry must actually be 100000x more hated than CyHawk. A significant portion of their fans thought Mountain West was better than Big 12 when their conference was falling apart.
If Iowa got purged from a Big Ten/SEC mega conference I cannot possibly imagine any of their fans claiming the MAC is a better spot than the Big 12 the way Utah fans mostly did.
Coaches know little to nothing when it comes to realignment. Don’t see anything wrong with a coach speculating about something he probably doesn’t know about when asked a question.
Also, characterizing an entire program, university, and fanbase based off some faceless Twitter accounts is dumb. We have our own share of embarrassing loud Iowa State fans on Twitter (I’m sure they on here too). Doesn’t mean we are all crazy idiots.
