Knoxville Nationals 2024

Nationals start tonight. I'm taking my little guy for the first time tomorrow - we've attended a few of the weekly 410 shows, but never Nationals. Any advice on seating? Thinking about trying the backstretch as I've never been over there.

@Connor_Ferguson are you guys selling ARD shirts anywhere on-site, or just the website?

Been to all but two Late model nationals, only once for the sprint national back when King was still racing. We make the trip over for some other shows here and there. I like to sit, or stand when the fairground police are not around, in top row of sections G or H. You see the whole track great and I love watching the cars coming out of turn 4 racing to the flag. I don't know if you can get those for the Nationals at this point.
Sorry I cant help you on back stretch.

We raced there once for a mod show. My nephew loved the track!

Yes. In fact, didn't go myself, but just ran Harris Clash at Deer Creek. 3rd in heat. Finished 19th in feature but had to get in through the B by finishing 2nd in that. Back to Davenport Friday night.

Back stretch is fine for nationals. Wear ear protection if you are low enough.
 
Larson peaking at right time.
Shatz is chasing Kinser and would desperately like to tie him this year. Gravel has a shot. In last 44 years Kinser and Shatz have won half of nationals.
 
This might be the 50th anniversary of Sammy Swindells first nationals. I think he came to Knoxville when he was 17 and couldn’t race because he was too young.

Backstretch is awesome imo. Only time they open it up is on nationals week. Wish they would do so for 360s and other Outlaw shows.

Can't stand Larson at Knoxville. Cheering for Gio!
 
Yea Rico is on a hot streak with High Limit. Tyler Courtney, Day, and Sweet are always in the mix with HL too.

Donny 38th quick in time trials...
 
Unofficial points I have so far for some of the drivers mentioned
Day 275, Gio 271, Gravel 271, Shatz 226
(Gravel 6th in heat)
