MLB: ***2026 Minnesota Twins***

Will be interesting to see what the Twins do at the trade deadline. Still think they need another high-leverage reliever. Can't count on Stewart coming back.

Lewis at 1.0 OPS is good. But Lee coming in for him at 1.1 is awesome. Six RBIS in five games. Not a bad start.

The Twins just moved (July 3) Stewart from the 15 day disabled list to the 60 day DL, so not looking promising on that front.

Doesn't matter. He is already eligible to come off the 60 day DL so that just frees up a 40 man roster spot. Sounds like he should start a rehab assignment soon

I’m officially worried that the Twins need a RH bat at the trade deadline. Vázquez is our DH tonight batting .199. Yikes.
He has been batting better the last month but I agree. Royce coming back will solve some of that problem…. if he can stay healthy.

He's been fantastic for the 2nd half of this season. Way above average for a catcher. The first half of the season was just insanely awful.

For the last 6 weeks or so, he has hit far better than Jeffers.

Hopefully the Twins can kill it again as they have the last several drafts. At #21 will RHP William Schmitt, 3B Seaver King, or OF Carson Benge be there? At #33, RHP Braylon Dougherty or OF Ryan Waldschmitt might be good pick-ups.
Both of these RHP are HS kids though, which the current braintrust tends to pass on early.

Twins love those college bats. They take K-State’s Kaelen Culpepper at #21 as a 3B or SS.
With pick #33, they take another SS, Kyle DeBarge from La Lafayette.

Twins finish the second round with two highly rated players— Tennessee’s 3B Billy Amick at #60, and a HS LHP out of Texas, Dasan Hill at #69.

Old college buddy from Iowa wants to comes see the Twins/Phillie afternoon game next week. Any suggestions on ticket buying? I have not been to a game in years and it was usually with peeps who had season ticket packages.

I’ve just used seat geek. I am partial to sections 110 and 109. I think the price to view is good there. Family and I are going Mon night.

My son and I enjoy the overhang in right. Section 134-136 I believe. Easy entry from that gate behind you, no crowded steps etc and can take the whole atmosphere from being on top of the field. And there’s bathrooms and cheap concessions behind you or not far. I’m a firm believer this is a hidden gem within Target Field.
