Busch was the main piece of that trade. If he is the player the Cubs hope the got they still won that trade. How much longer do you let this Almonte guy be in Chicago? 3 games so far and he has been pretty bad in all 3

I agree with the last part, the blackout rules need to be fixed. That is really the issue here. But if your ISP Is showing your location outside of Iowa, then it's your ISP's fault your Marquee subscription won't work.Honest question, why is it not the Cubs (Marquees) fault? Maybe the right term is Cubs issue. I had the same problem, until after 3 phone calls with Marquee CS, I cancelled the service.
I live in eastern Iowa and have Verizon ISP. As a WIFI based provider, it uses servers in large metros. Mine connection tends to use Omaha. So the Marquee App sees the server location and not where I physically am to determine whether I should be blacked out. It seems like Marquee App could override the ISP server location and allow access based on physical/credit card address.
Whether the "fault" is the Cubs(team) or MLB, baseball needs to get their blackout rules fixed. It's not like baseball can turn away fans. My best option might be to subscribe to MLB.TV at a little bit of a price premium. But the Cubs won't see that revenue. And my fear is MLB.TV will black me out because I actually live in-market for the Cubs. We'll see.
Can't do that... It would be too easy for people in Iowa to share the subscription with people out of State.that is our problem with our provider it says we are in new york or missouri. yes they should use the address of the credit card they have taken. thanks
Get a new computer.no you cant. we are in Grimes and keep getting shut out due to the number on our computer. shows we live in new York or Missouri and Marquee is no help.
Would a VPN work? Can get one for fairly cheap monthly price I believe.I agree with the last part, the blackout rules need to be fixed. That is really the issue here. But if your ISP Is showing your location outside of Iowa, then it's your ISP's fault your Marquee subscription won't work.
Hoerner/Mervis/Triantos/Wesneski for Luzardo and a lottery ticket.Marlins are 0-7 and may be preparing to sell already.
Anyone we would like to see in Chicago?
I’d still like to see Burnes in a Cubs uniform but if there’s a world you can get Luzardo for a not-ridiculous price, I’d jump on that and worry about future rotation fits later. Burnes/Steele/Luzardo/Horton/Shota is a top 3 rotation in the league and your second most expensive guy would be Shota at $13 MM. Just need to get Taillon off the books.
Other than Luzardo, I’m not sure there’s anyone else I’d be too excited about.
Well my ISP provider Verizon will continue to get my money. Marquee & the Cubs not. Not going back to Mediacom!!!I agree with the last part, the blackout rules need to be fixed. I don't think so. In looking at Marquee's TOC they state a VPN can't be used to get around blackout restrictions.Would a VPN work? Can get one for fairly cheap monthly price I believe.
I like it so I assume the Marlins won't.Hoerner/Mervis/Triantos/Wesneski for Luzardo and a lottery ticket.
Move Morel to 2B where he's competent and play Madrigal/Wisdom at 3B until Shaw is ready in July or August.
Could easily restrict number of simultaneous streams. Can't do that... It would be too easy for people in Iowa to share the subscription with people out of State.
Friend of mine is able to use a VPN to get around the MLB blackouts with his MLB subscriptionI like it so I assume the Marlins won't.
I know that. trying to fix it. but yea th blackout rules need to changeI agree with the last part, the blackout rules need to be fixed. That is really the issue here. But if your ISP Is showing your location outside of Iowa, then it's your ISP's fault your Marquee subscription won't work.
Curious, what streaming service do you use? I'm currently with FUBU but haven't decided where to switch?I’ve had no blackout issues with marquee yet. But I spring for the $20/month fee. Sure beats the hell out of $95/month for Fubo just to get cubs games
I use Hulu live normally but marquee got smart over the offseason. You can subscribe to marquee directly for $20/month. I have the app on my smart tv, and I will only miss 7 games this year, because I believe the cubs are on ESPN/Apple tv 7 timesCurious, what streaming service do you use? Yeah I switched from Hulu to Fubu to get Marquee. I don't see enough upgrade with Hulu plus having to add $20.I use Hulu live normally but marquee got smart over the offseason. The way I figure, I’ll only have marquee for 3-4 ish months, so I’ll spend the extra $80 to get cubs games here or there. Had Fubo last year, and found it had less on demand shows than Hulu so I switched backYeah I switched from Hulu to Fubu to get Marquee. I don't see enough upgrade with Hulu plus having to add $20.
