***Official 2024 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Thread***

Think the BYU hand-wringing isn't totally unwarranted after watching us play 1.5 games of bad basketball against them.

I think we finally figured them out in that second half in Ames, but they are tough if 3s are falling and Khalifa is playing well.

That being said, if they play like they are today, we can handle them.

Khalifa is terrible. A negative player in all but the 3 or so games he goes off offensively.

He can't move, rebound at all for his size, and is a defensive liability. He's not a good basketball player.

Thee it is again. Khalifa should not see the floor the rest of the game. He's completely screwing them up in every phase of the game. He can't even run the floor.

I can’t understand BYU struggling with the pressure defense, but I’ll take it

I don't care what the metrics say, Creighton and BYU are not brimming with defensive athletes that can just lock you down.

These small schools used to lack in bodies, now it's more a lack of consistent skill. But on a hot streak, that's kind of irrelavant. It shows up long term, but short term they are probably hot and making shots, probably playing solid connected ball.

Creighton and BYU, though solid on paper, struggle to just say enough is enough and LOCK you down.

I feel good about the way we play for this reason.

BYU might be overrated but Creighton look good. Akron is playing well. Not sure how long they can keep this up.
