Wouldn't North Carolina or Tennessee be the 2 seed in the East? I'd be happy with a 2 or 3 in the Midwest opposite Purdue or to be sent to the West with either UNC or Tennessee as the 1.

I think the list is right (teams in the semifinals of their conference tournament) but the graphic is all messed up.
Just a quick glance and Texas, TCU, Creighton, Missouri are all done so clearly not going to make the semifinals
Edit - they said the graphic is from last year.
Also they can’t even make the list yet because the SEC and big 10 aren’t to the semis yet. So why even put this out. Just wait 24 hours lol
The list is the teams currently in the semifinals of their respective conference tournaments. That’s why there are no SEC or big 10 teams listed, since they are still in the quarterfinalsAnd Arkansas didn't even make the Quarterfinals, so....what?
I think we all thought we were securely in, yeah.Perhaps, but finding out after the fact that the committee had you lower than you expected to be is a little different...I could be remembering incorrectly but I don't recall any doubt about whether we'd get in going into Selection Sunday.
I think it’s dependent on schools/conferences bidding on hosting. Not sure who is hosting the Spokane location (I don’t think it’s Gonzaga).I'm sure it boils down to 'this is the way that we've always done it' NCAA style logic.
Also, they've completely renovated the old Sonics building for the Kraken and it's a really cool place now.
It can't hold true after today no matter what happens, so it's a really bizarre tweet. The list is the teams currently in the semifinals of their respective conference tournaments. That’s why there are no SEC or big 10 teams listed, since they are still in the quarterfinals

One will be the 2 in the West as the best 2-seed. The other will go to the SouthWouldn't North Carolina or Tennessee be the 2 seed in the East? I'd be happy with a 2 or 3 in the Midwest opposite Purdue or to be sent to the West with either UNC or Tennessee as the 1.
Jerry Palm not popular among actual bracketologists lol
Not sure what you mean that it can't hold true. Maybe it won't but we won't know until after the tournamentIt can't hold true after today no matter what happens, so it's a really bizarre tweet.
Too bad neither of them could play Gonzaga as 4 seedsBama and Auburn being shipped off to Spokane together would be comedy gold
The University of Idaho is the host.I think it’s dependent on schools/conferences bidding on hosting. Not sure who is hosting the Spokane location (I don’t think it’s Gonzaga).
My guess is schools/conferences in LA/SF/Seattle/Phoenix/Denver and other, larger western locations didn’t bid to host.

Palm gets the benefit of CBS getting the bracket first, they get it to set up the graphics for the broadcast, so he can magically change it morning of and look respectable.I'm always impressed when hobbyists online can keep up with supposed "professionals" in their field.

Lordy. I completely misread that tweet. I thought it was saying that all of the Champions since 1993 are currently in their conference tournament semifinals. Not sure what you mean that it can't hold true. Maybe it won't but we won't know until after the tournament
The tweet is saying that every eventual national champion since 1993 has also made the semi finals of their conference tournament.
The graphic shows the teams that made the semifinals last year. Obviously UCONN is in the graphic since they did both of those things last year.
The tweet is saying the eventual national champion will come from one of teams listed in the tweet (not the graphic). But the list will expand to include SEC and big 10, after their quarterfinal games today.
I've seen way to much of this and have completely turned away from guys like JBR and T3 etc. Quit acting like you have a professional degree in bracketology, who cares if media guys give opinions on who is in or out, they act like it's damaging beyond repair for the sport or somethingI'm always impressed when hobbyists online can keep up with supposed "professionals" in their field.
