***2023-24 Mens College Basketball Thread***

I'll share this here, too

Todays games-

Title Games:
NEC- #6 Wagner vs. #2 Merrimack
CAA- #7 Stony Brook vs. #1 Charleston
Horizon- #1 Oakland vs. #6 Milwaukee (FWIW: I've seen Oakland in some brackets vs Iowa State as a 3/14)
WCC- #1 St. Marys vs. #2 Gonzaga
Summit- #7 Denver vs. #1 SDSU

Imagine if the Zags lose to the St. Mary's and drop to an 8 line. Whichever 1 seed drew them for round 2 would be pissed.

Or…they drop to a 7 seed and we play them in the 2nd round after celebrating a Big12 tournament championship and getting a 2 seed as a result.

I wonder what the crowd will be like for the first round games in KC. Those four teams don't expect to advance far, I'd imagine. And they're fans are expected to show up on Wednesday.

I am wondering if the Big 12 would ever consider playing the women's championship as the highlight game along with those other two games as an undercard to make that night a better draw and compress the schedule a little bit.

Bracket Matrix has them as a 7. Looks like the are a 6/7/8 depending on whose asked. I obviously don't want us to have to play them, but its more how bad of a draw that would be for a 1 seed to get.

Miami was a horrible coaching job this year or something which maybe Larandaga is just getting too old, I don't know? But they have a ton of talent on that team.
