Court Storming

They could just put a timer on the court storm. Give 30 seconds to get off the court any student in violation gets 250.00 fine. Would be easy to get facial recognition on large crowds.

A lot of overreaction again so far. Court storming is fine. Programs just have to have an adequate plan in place to protect players in the event of a court storm. Programs that don't should get fines.

ISU has done good job this yr with our only court storm. It helps that our students are used to winning/storming. It is more like a waterfall than a storm.

I think most schools do a good job with it. There have been a bunch ive seen this season and they all have a fairly similar plan with a line of security set up to separate fans and opposing players. Its not rocket science at this point.

Wake deserves a fine here not for a storm occurring but for failing to do something that's fairly basic procedure at most other schools (especially P6 schools).

Hell, even a PA announcement to give them time to exit the court mightve been helpful

I think the railing in front of the student section helps a lot. Forcing people to exit through the aisles slows everything down.

I imagine a few opinions would change if one of our players got injured in this situation. But since it's Duke, flame away I guess
Agree. I’ll get roasted for being a fun hater, but if we had a lottery pick get injured in a court storm late February people here would not respond like “oh well, it’s just part of the college game”.

But that's bias. And anyone doing so would also be wrong, thanks to that bias

If you watch the video in slow motion, Flip sticks his leg out to try and trip the fan. He earned that sprained knee
I don't know how you can call that an attempt to trip the Wake student. Flip was walking towards his bench. The court stormers was trying to taunt as he ran by and their knees collided.
