No Purdue. No UConn. Would love to play Houston since that likely wouldn’t happen until Final 4.

You’re crazy if you’d want to play Purdue as a 1 seed. They are legit.
Who are you responding to? I don’t see anyone that wants to see them in the first game.

Now them getting to the elite 8. Given their history, I would think many teams would like to be in that regional.

Avoid:

Texas A&M. Taylor at guard is electric if he is on. They are a really experienced team. Would hate to see them in a second round #2/#7 type scenario. Dark horse Final 4 team for me.

Kentucky: Tons of talent. Have seen them struggle all year only to turn it on come March.

Clemson. Impressed every time I see them play.

Any Big 12 team early who has seen our defense before.

Play:

Dayton. Extremely overrated.

Wisconsin. Our pressure defense would eat them alive.

Marquette. Have not been overly impressed. Lost their PG earlier in year to injury.

Purdue. Give me Purdue as the #1 seed in our bracket. They always tend to get knocked off early. With our pressure defense dont think Edey would ever get comfortable.
Give us any Big 10 team in the sweet 16. I hope to see Wisconsin again lol soft af and would melt them

Would like to avoid a guard-oriented, volume 3 point shooting team (or a volume 3 point shooting/jump shot team in general). You can get behind quick when the other team is hitting tough, contested 3 point shots.
Agreed. We don’t have a good history with these types of teams. Where our defense is susceptible is the 3 point line

Put me on the side of not wanting to face a team with a bunch of decent guards and 3pt bombers, ESPECIALLY early on if they are a mid-major higher seed, and under no pressure.

Some team that relies on a big but with mid guards? Bring them on. Big will get his, but our holy trinity will turn them over like crazy.

BYU, or anyone like them that can space with 5 guys and shoot threes. I still think we lose to byu in Hilton. Now if we play them straight up we will be fine, but the trapping we do is exactly what they want us to do.

Avoid:
Creighton. They've had some head scratching losses but there's A LOT of talent on that team.
8th in Kenpom's experience (3.11 years).
If nothing changes, Creighton will be good to play on the second day Of a weekend. In the last few games they haven’t had much bench production and have only played two off the bench. Their best players are playing 35 to 40 minutes. They also don’t play much defense.
