Now that DeBoer is going to Bama, the Washington job is open.

Campbell is the type of loyal dude to stay there and build the program back up with minimal needs and isn't asking for $10M a year so can pay coordinators and ride the ship while Washington waits to get their full share of B1G money.

As always, despite what our fans think, he’s on a lot of coaching lists. He turned it down 2 years ago. Could he be interested this time? Sure. But it seems less likely.

It’s more that Washington is located where Washington is located. Seattle, the campus and the gameday setting/antmosphere are an advantage over most programs.

Yeah just because a random reporter has a list that doesn’t mean anyone at the school feels that way. Think we learned from realignment how these guys just post anything. I love cmc for isu but that’s just not the right fit for a variety of reasons at UW

At first glance, it just looks like a "who's coaching at a school outside the big 2 with some level of success" list.
These guys don't exactly dig deep for these. Similiarly, the lists people fired off immediately to replace Saban were just lists of the coaches from last year's top 10.
